4 Tips to Perform under Pressure

In my previous video, I discussed clutch performers who THRIVE under pressure. Here are 4 tips to help you become a clutch performer at work.

  1. Embrace pressure: Pressure alerts and energizes you. Accept it warmly and let it wash over you. Focus on what you want to happen, not what you fear.
  2. Leverage your strengths: When you align your efforts with YOUR STRENGTHS and target them at what you CAN control, you become a formidable force.
  3. Train to the extreme: Practice under pressure builds response memories in your body and mind – so keep training under pressure until you can handle a similar situation in real-time with ease.
  4. Just breathe: Be present. Trust in the process and your preparation and let your body and mind take over to create your peak performance.
