How Do You Overcome Your Monday Blues?

As your weekend comes to an end, do you feel the Sunday dreads or the Monday blues?

You’re not alone.

These are negative emotions associated with the beginning of a work week. A survey conducted in the United Kingdom shared that 66% of employees felt exactly the same way.

So, it’s understandable that we think it’s so common that it’s just a part of our work culture. But don’t be fooled by it. Any kind of negative emotion is an indication of some sort of a stress present.

So, if you find yourself anxious or not looking forward to a Monday, ‘ask yourself what is wrong?’

Please don’t think it’s normal.

We spend close to 100000 hour at work and these are a 100000 hours you could be smiling, you could be joyous at work. Word shouldn’t feel like a burden. So ask yourself, how do you bring back joy to your work? Because life is too short to feel blue Monday after Monday until you retire.
