Compromise vs. Collaboration

In my last video, I shared how during team conflict, extreme competition or accommodation, both can mess up a team’s decisions. So, your gut instinct could be- let’s just compromise. Compromise happens when you don’t wholeheartedly assert your ideas or wholeheartedly cooperate with others which leaves everyone dissatisfied. Your team’s performance gets hurt. 

So, instead of stepping down to compromise. step up to COLLABORATE. Go the extra mile to satisfy your own agenda along with others’ agendas. And YES, you can do it as a team because more brains working together is better than just one!

Trust yourselves to improve upon each other’s ideas to arrive at a better one. One that’s a win for every single team member. That’s an effective resolution to healthy conflict and true teamwork.
