I am all about getting better results with lesser effort, but being in an ‘effortless state’, it is a totally different concept. Also, I noticed that the word ‘effortless’ can cause some confusion when I talk about it. Am I promoting laziness and inaction? NO. Let me explain.
Typically, the word ‘effortless’ has two meanings:
- Requiring no effort (not what I mean)
- Achieved with admirable ease (this is exactly what I mean)
So, when you’re in an ‘effortless state’, you are completely immersed and focused on a task. YES – You’re putting in effort – sometimes a lot of it – but this process doesn’t feel like a struggle. Instead, it feels like a joyful, spontaneous flow of energy. That’s when work doesn’t feel like work, and results come easily, naturally, and hence, EFFORTLESSLY. Your PEAK performance.
