How To Conduct An Effective Meeting?

Are you tired of sitting and meeting after meeting at work and still feel like you’re not being hurt?

The reason is that we have very little time and we have too much to talk. Which means that meeting resources are not being equitably distributed.

What do I mean by that?

Everywhere effective meeting needs these two things. One, it needs equally distributed time among the participants to think and contribute. Two, it also needs equally distributed information among the participants so everyone is on the same page and no one has the bias of knowing better than anyone else.

So, the next time you are setting up a meeting, make sure that there is enough time during the meeting to allow all the participants to meaningfully contribute and also send out the agenda and the pre-works well in advance to all the participants.
