A lot of self help gurus talk about finding meaning in life. But have you wondered about finding meaning at work?
According to mass laws, hierarchy of needs, the least that a job can do for you is give you financial security. But the best thing a job can do for you is give you meaning and purpose.
In order to get to the top of this pyramid, you need to ask yourself these three questions.
One, do you truly care about your job? Two, do you take extreme ownership at work? And three, do you feel committed to whatever that you do at your job?
If your answer to these three questions care, ownership and commitment is a deep, resounding yes, then congratulations, you have found meaning at work.
If not, keep exploring. Different responsibilities, different jobs, different companies if you need to, in order to get to the top of that pyramid.
