Learning Styles for Authentic Training

If an employee is struggling to perform a NEW task, having the drive for it is not enough, they need EFFECTIVE TRAINING first.
Say you are a manager and need to get an employee trained. You might think of pairing them with an experienced employee or assigning online courses. Right? Usual options.

BUT you may FAIL to consider the employee’s preference for training. How do they learn best?
Some like to learn by observation, while others prefer to learn by reading or listening, while others love to learn by experimentation.
So, the next time you are about to assign training, MATCH IT to the employee’s learning style to create an effective and authentic learning environment.
