I am usually a critical realist, and I don’t vibe with some people’s extreme optimism. It’s just not me. However, I AM an ambitious person. The thing about ambition, there’s very little rooted in the present and it has everything to do with the future – what if there was no ceiling for me? How and where would I make an impact?
This wild imagination opens doors that my critical, grounded self would never see. So, knowing when you can step away from being realistic and unleashing your imagination helps you take that first step to becoming limitless.
Like Ravi Dubey said in his TEDx Talk – your senses and your mind are enough to optimize your present, but your imagination is what manufactures your future.
