Resignation for Growth

If you are a manager, and if an employee chooses to leave your team, does it reflect on you poorly? Not always.

At a previous company, I wanted to leave my then current team to join another because I wanted a career-change. But my manager made things difficult when I told him that I wanted to leave.

If an employee wants to leave your team or organization, it doesn’t always mean you’re the reason. You may have taught them everything you could and helped them get to a position where they are either ready for the next step or have chosen a different path.

If you whole-heartedly believe that you have given your best for your team, it’s okay to let go.
