What Comes Before Peak Performance?

I often talk about achieving peak performance but what if you’re assigned a new project at work? You don’t immediately aim for peak performance; you first aim for minimum results and that’s okay.

But before you get started on that new project, ask yourself three questions:

  1. Do you fully understand your stakeholders’ EXPECTATIONS? Like tasks involved, project scope, timeline, and outcome.
  2. Do you have adequate RESOURCES to complete the project? Like time, team support, or technology and tools.
  3. Do you truly have the ABILITY to utilize the resources and successfully meet expectations? If not, are you willing to learn and show impact?

Confidence about expectations, resources, and your abilities can help you deliver results. But don’t stop there. Go beyond, commit to peak performance and keep raising the bar.
