Enrique Hernandez, a baseball player for the Dodgers in 2017, became the first player in the team’s history to hit three home runs in a postseason game. He was hailed as an unsung hero who surprisingly delivered on the game’s biggest stage. He is what many sports enthusiasts call, a CLUTCH PERFORMER.
When under pressure, or “in the clutch”, athletes like Hernandez summon strength, concentration, and confidence to perform dramatically better. Under pressure, they enter a Flow State.
Going beyond sports, can we find clutch performers in the corporate world too? Absolutely! Top employees can sometimes freak out over stressful tasks! But then there are those employees that consistently excel when the stakes are high. They’re more likely to tap into their FLOW under pressure to achieve extraordinary results, surprising everyone around them.
If YOU too want to become a clutch performer at work, stay tuned for my next video to find out how.
